# Sign in and choose a workspace ## Before you start Use an email inbox you can access. Sign-in is public; workspace data requires membership in that workspace. ## Steps 1. Open the product's `/sign-in` page. Enter your email address and request a code. 2. Enter the code from the email, then choose **Verify email address**. The interface states that the code expires after fifteen minutes. 3. Check the workspace name in the sidebar. Use **Switch workspace** to choose another workspace you belong to. If none is active, **Create workspace** opens the creation page. The `/register` page shares the passwordless flow. This guide does not cover passkey or authenticator setup. ## Expected result You have a signed-in session and can identify the selected workspace before viewing or changing its data. ## If it fails Use **Change email address** to correct a typo. Use the resend action if needed. Follow the displayed verification error; do not assume that requesting a code created a signed-in session. A missing workspace is not proof that its records were deleted.
